US Urges Citizens to Refrain from Traveling to Britain

Russia Calls for UN Vote to Scrap Bosnia Peace Envoy Job

Russia has asked the U.N. Security Council to vote Thursday on its proposal to abolish the post of international high representative for Bosnia and the office that goes with it by July 2022, diplomats told Agence France-Presse.     The vote was requested for Thursday afternoon, said one of the diplomats on condition of anonymity.   It is now up to France, which holds the presidency of the Security Council this month, to confirm the vote.  The subject has been controversial for years and has come back on the radar in recent weeks. Dane Who Drew Controversial Muhammad Caricature Dies at 86

Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, whose image of the Prophet Muhammad wearing a bomb as a turban was at the center of widespread anti-Danish anger in the Muslim world in the mid-2000s, has died. He was 86. Westergaard’s family announced his death to Danish media late Sunday and told the newspaper Berlingske that Westergaard died in his sleep after a long period of illness.
